It took me nearly two years, but I finally came up with a formula that both my husband and I (as well as many of our friends and family members) loved. But since he was not at all interested in rubbing anything onto his armpits, I set out to create an effective natural deodorant in stick form. I swapped it out for a DIY paste made with just coconut oil and baking soda, and wanted my husband to do the same. After cleaning up my diet, the next place I looked were the toxic skincare products I was using–and deodorant was the biggest offender. My husband and his family spontaneously started an organic farm right around the time we got married in 2012, which got me going on a natural living kick. This might sound bizarre, but I never set out to start a skincare company–it all sort of happened by accident. What was your inspiration for starting Primally Pure? How are we supposed to know what ingredients are good or not? We’ve done some vetting, and found Primally Pure skincare. We’ve all been there, walking the aisles of the drugstore or a fancy skincare spot, only to find ourselves paralyzed by the amount of choices with airbrushed images, promising taglines and prices all over the map.
